Being Environmental

Even though we are an IT services organisation, and don't produce anything physical, we can still have an impact on our environment through how we work and deliver our services.

So that we ensure we make a contribution to the environmental challenges we all face, we want to let our customers know about our ongoing activities and commitment to meeting them.

Remote

During Covid, like many companies, we had to move to a fully remote working model. And like many companies, we found that this provided a number of benefits, not least an appreciable reduction in environmental impact of our team travelling to and from work.

As such, we have ditched the office, and all our teams now work remotely, keeping our commute impact to essentially zero.

Recycle

As an employer, we actively encourage all employees to recycle as much as possible, with used (home based) office equipment being environmentally disposed of or recycled.

Sustainable Suppliers

We are still a relatively small company, but that doesn't stop us being careful with selecting suppliers who can demonstrate their similar commitment to the environment.

Every project is different, so when we start the discussion, ask us who we are working with and how they meet our and your expectations for environmental protection.

Reduced Travel

With customer meetings, seminars and events, it's easy to build up considerable miles of travelling. But is it really necessary?

We only allow travel across the business where it is absolutely needed with staff having to provide justification and evidence of environmental means.

Our Offsetting

As a business, we are establishing a relationship with an organisation to help with offsetting our carbon footprint.

This will allow us to become neutral well before much of our competition.

Your Offsetting

In conjunction with our commitments, we are also working towards helping all our customers to support this approach by offsetting the cost of their projects.

We are still working out the detail, but as we move into 2022, we hope to be able to offer 'digital trees', where we plant a real tree for every unit of work we deliver.
